A garden is a friend you can visit any time.

They said it would be sunny and warm all day, but instead we got drizzle and that kind of halfway cold. Things cleared up in the afternoon though, and I got a couple of nice hours outside – at least with a sweater on. I managed to sow some annual flowers and perennials.
Now in pots indoors:
- Blue globe thistle
- Musk mallow “Appleblossom”
- Melancholy thistle “Deep Rose”
And directly into the garden bed, I scattered:
- Love-in-a-mist
- Poppy “The Giant”
- Phacelia (bee’s favorite)
I also chopped up the remaining apple tree branches to fit into the community’s yard waste bags. Such a shame there’s no space to keep them and use them properly.
Noticed the garlic and rhubarb are coming along nicely. Even spotted a tiny little red onion sprout—barely visible but definitely there.

Evening mood shots… why not… 🙂
