This morning, the spinach “Viking” had sprouted. Now all the leafy greens on the deck are up and running.
When I got home from work, I did my usual round – checking everything. Has anything happened?? As eager as a kid… And today, something had happened!
A tiny little green dot showed the first sprout in the row of “Københavns Torve” radishes! Just a couple of hours later, more little leaves were popping up along the row. I covered them with garden fleece – tonight’s supposed to dip below freezing again…
Did a quick round and gave the rhubarb some fertilizer… and now I realize I should have done the strawberries too!!
