Day two went much as day one. The days start with a short lecture on different artists painting nature in different ways.
And then painting, between 9 am and 4 pm the teacher is here, but the studio is available around the clock.
First I finished off the detailed painting from yesterday evening. And was challenged by the teacher to also make a quick study.
First painting took a couple of hours (middle), the second 15-20 minutes (right). One of my goals is to learn to paint looser…
Not to change my style – but add looser elements to it.

Later the same day a walk to find new motives ended up in two more paintings… One that I really tried to make a good painting, the other was just to test out some Daniel Smith Primatek colors and the granulation.

And well – accidentally painted a Moomin (but that is for later). These two paintings were only started on day 2, so more coming on day 3….
