The last day was only from 9-12, or more like 9-11. (The last hour before lunch we all walked around the school to look at all the paintings made during the course).
For me I went for a really quick painting as my last painting, one clam, two pieces… 20 minutes at the most, drying time included…
(Even though I didn’t even paint shadows, someone tried to pick one up… really made my day 🙂 )

We had lunch at 12, the studio had to be empty by 14. We happily thought of a little more time to paint. But no, we all ate and packed up, apparently one can get enough painting – at least for one weekend.
And, on the last day the mallow had yet another flower… three new flowers while taped to a paper in the studio… go mallow.
The forecast said rain, but the sky was blue and the sun shining. I drove north before returning home. I had a date with a bridge and some water lilies…

When I turned back south I found all that forecasted rain. The plan to ride nice small roads was abandoned and I went back on the highway, pushing through the heavy rains…
But in the end, after a little more than 1,5 hour, I arrived home safely to my sunny garden. My luggage, especially paintings and paint, were all well packed and dry. Only the cloths I had on were wet and I was home, so who cares 🙂
