The sugar snaps on the deck are sprouting! 🙂 And all the radishes are up and running. Short strolls with a mug of tea make for great micro-breaks on work-from-home days – and a little burst of joy when you return to the screen.
Wrapped work early and went straight outside. Again. Raked, picked leaves, pulled weeds… It looks great for maybe half an hour before the leaves take over again. But now there’s an end in sight – little green streaks among all the brown, hornbeam in a nutshell!
Had a good chuckle at my legs… The cycling tan has been replaced by the even less flattering gardening tan. ?

Checked in on my Little Gem experiment – those under plastic cloches are growing way faster… so now they all live under cloches. Such cute little seedlings!
And yep, it’s hot and muggy, definitely thunder on the way… and loads of rain this weekend.
So I wrapped up the day by generously feeding the lawn! Surely it’ll kick into gear now… And a little Tiny Tim tomato for Leah, which I even managed to replant properly and make look happy again 🙂
