Saturday…

There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can’t prove that there aren’t any, so shouldn’t we be agnostic with respect to fairies?

A quick run to ICA, then home for some garden time…Mostly rearranged the deck – again. Also repotted the chili, melon, and squash… and topped the tomatoes (Scary – what if it doesn’t work?). A neighbor gave me some French tarragon cuttings – used my last big pot for them. Fingers crossed they perk up. Apparently, you can’t grow this type tarragon from seed; it has to be propagated from cuttings.

Today was the start of the Giro d’Italia! A short time trial… perfect background while assembling the new potting bench.

Eleven little lettuce plants… One wilted, so now there are only ten…

Bits and pieces from Liseberg and Blomsterlandet. Even a tiny garden can hold little surprises…
Concrete hearts hiding behind the rhubarb, cowslips in the far corner. Daffodils behind the shed door…
A weathervane and an insect bath poking up among the plants.
