Preparations… When you want to show where everything is, but your parents’ trip overlaps with yours… you end up writing the world’s longest email – with pictures.
Looks like it’s going to be an interesting bike trip. SMHI says a heatwave is rolling across Europe… Today’s Tour de France stage (Stage 16, around Nîmes) was raced in over 40°C.
Last day before the car goes back… I’ve cleared out the storage unit! Tomorrow morning: dump run and car drop-off. Then Body Balance, laundry, dishwasher, taking out the trash… Only 32 hours to go now. The bike’s packed – only the toiletry, shoes, and phone are still out.
