Saturday afternoon, and Johan showed up with tools a bit heavier than a crowbar…
A few hours later, the deck was in pieces and ready for the dump run on Sunday.
And it did turn out nice…
I’m thinking annuals in the flower bed this summer. But any long-term planting plans will have to wait until the new deck is in place – or at least on the drawing board. Could be a while though – who knows what’s coming next.
Had I not known we were tearing down the deck all day, I woud have thought a snake had come to visit…
