Cherry Belle & Diana

Cherry Belle & Diana

Yesterday it rained. Morning, noon, and night. I gave myself a day off from “shoulds” and nearly made it through all of Home Fires (SVT Play).

But today the sun came back. A morning ride to Åsa and a small haul of tea and coffee… A cozy garden day followed by a bike ride out to Eklanda for ideas, chats, baby cuddles, and pizza. Given how little I’ve biked this year, just under 35 km felt like quite a lot 🙂

All the Cherry Belle and Diana radishes are done now – just a few still in the ground. I can safely say Cherry Belle is pretty bland, very child-friendly with the faintest hint of radish. The neighbor’s 3.5-year-old still turned it down, of course.
Diana has a bit more flavor, still mild but tastier. I roasted all the radishes, together with some a few French Breakfast, at 200°C with oil and salt for about 30 minutes. All the heat was gone, and they turned out delicious served with some freshly picked Little Gem leaves.
